Tamborine Mountain Hot Water Installation FAQs

Do you offer same day installation on Mt Tamborine?

Same-day or next-day installation is generally available, particularly when you contact us early in the day. Availability depends on the system required, stock availability, the installation requirements, your location and Adam’s existing schedule. Send us photos of your current system as early as possible so we can confirm your options.

What types of hot water systems do you install at Hot Water Boss?

Hot Water Boss specialises in electric storage and heat pump hot water systems, and has been installing these in the area for 15 years. We install trusted brands including Rheem, Rinnai, Stiebel Eltron, Thermann, Everhot and Vulcan. We do not provide gas hot water installation.

How much does hot water system installation cost in Tamborine Mountain?

The installed price depends on the system type and size, its location, access and any plumbing or electrical work required. Send us photos of your current system and we’ll provide a free, all-inclusive fixed-price quote before work begins. We also have a range of install specials available - find out more here!

What is included in my fixed-price quote?

Our fixed-price quotes can include the new hot water system, required valves and fittings, compliant installation, removal of the old system, testing, commissioning and clean-up. Where required for a standard electrical changeover, licensed electrical work and the relevant compliance paperwork are also included. Your quote will clearly confirm the agreed scope before installation.

Is a heat pump suitable for my home in Tamborine?

A heat pump can be an energy-efficient option for many Tamborine Mountain homes, but the system model and installation position need to suit the property. Adam will consider household usage, available space, airflow, shade, seasonal temperatures, noise clearance and the existing plumbing and electrical setup before recommending an option. If you're looking for further information about heat pumps, we have a dedicated information hub that may assist.

Can you install a system on a sloping property?

Often, yes. Sloping blocks, narrow pathways, stairs, gates and limited vehicle access may affect how the old and new systems can be moved safely. Send us photos of the installation area and the access route when requesting your quote so Adam can assess the requirements before attending.

Which areas around Tamborine Mountain do you service?

We service Tamborine Mountain, including Eagle Heights, North Tamborine and Mount Tamborine. We also attend surrounding areas including Tamborine and Wongawallan. If your area isn’t listed, send us your suburb and we’ll confirm installation availability.

What happens if my hot water system is leaking?

If your hot water system is leaking from a valve or fitting, repair may be possible. Call Adam on 0415 272 227, and we can help assess the problem.
If your hot water system is leaking from the tank itself, you will likely need a new hot water system. The fastest way to get a quote is to request a quote online, and we will get back to you within the hour!

Should I repair or replace my hot water system?

That depends on the source of the problem, the age and condition of the system and the likely repair cost. A minor valve or fitting issue may not require a complete replacement, while a leaking tank will generally require a new system. Send Adam some photos and details, and he can help you determine the most practical next step.
